Do you ask yourself “why not”?

We are all inclined to judge ourselves by our ideals;
others, by their acts.

-Harold Nicolson

We can be our own worst enemies and everything boils down to mindset.

One of the biggest changes I made when I forced myself to actually take a look inside was to stop judging others, stop beating myself up if things didn’t go absolutely smoothly and to stop saying I’m not enough and I can’t.

I became the poster girl for the words “I Can” I Am!”

When you judge yourself negatively you are basically abusing yourself.  I know that sounds tough but I really want you to think about this and ask yourself a couple of questions:

  • When I say I can’t do something have I asked myself why?
  • In the past has thinking this way been an obstacle to creating the success and wealth I want?

Why.  Such a tiny word that can have such a huge impact! “We don’t know what we don’t know until we know!”

Being able to ask ourselves questions is one of the powers we have as human beings yet I see many people creating obstacles for themselves because they don’t stop to think why they are doing something.

I’m not necessarily talking about money when I use the word wealth.  I consider myself wealthy because I have wonderful children and beautiful grandchildren. I consider myself wealthy because I love where I live and the people I meet and the beauty of nature, my clients and my friends.

Tapping into your mindset when you are thinking something negative is essential to your happiness in life not just to your wealth.

Next time you find yourself saying “I can’t” ask yourself why you ’t.  Make friends with any fear you may have just don’t let it take over.  Fear is not a bad thing it’s about learning how to deal with it so you know why you have fear and then walking through it. Always ask yourself “What’s the worst thing that can happen.”  More often than not you will find that the answer really doesn’t equate with the fear.  Be more gentle and kind to yourself.

My apologies for no recording this week!  I’ve been sick and I still don’t have a voice. Hopefully there will be one for next week.

‘Til Next Time,

To Your Success and Brilliance,

Hazel
